I'm glad you found a solution to the turbo problem. It does not sound like you need to do 100km/hr from what you wrote. In 5th gear and 1800 RPMs how fast would be be going? At 2000 rpms? Your FE would be higher than at 100km/hr, surely, which is good for your 90 mpg goals, no?

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
