I must confess I used to hold more expectations for the success of Hydrogen as a motor fuel, but it's been a while since I found out it won't be any better than biofuels such as ethanol and even biodiesel which are not nearly as much of a PITA to handle. Sure they may not be "perfect", neither the ICE is, but it seems like the ICE won't be effectively replaced so soon as some Europeans have been fooled to believe. EVs might remain better suited for shorter range and some specialized applications, while plug-in hybrids may increase their market share as a good balance between the advantages of EVs and regular ICE-powered vehicles.
