Reprieve!

What did I do to my car today*? I kicked the Metro to the curb!!

(* Actually a few days ago.)

AS IS SPECIAL! I picked up this cheap 2014 Mirage (my second) that was traded 11 months ago at an Ottawa Chrysler/Jeep dealership. What... nobody was interested in a funny little 3-cylinder, manual transmission car at the SUV store? Talk about lot poison. After watching them attempt for months to sell it at a delusionally high asking price, they finally got realistic and put it on sale, so I bit.

I'm enjoying it immensely after driving the Metro for the past 6(?) weeks or so. It feels like the height of refinement & sophistication. Reminds me of the joke, "Sir, why are you hitting your head against that wall? Answer: because it feels so good when I stop!"

Temporary reprieve, though:

It's just on a 10-day travel permit, after which I will park it until winter duty.

I will start a dedicated thread for it.
