When the car has been wrecked and you've collected more in insurance payouts than you paid for the car and still driving it in the damaged condition. I paid $2000. for my '02 Escort in 2008 with 80K miles. In 2010 a lady hit it and did about $2900. damage. Here it is 2020 the car has 200K miles, I've made $900. profit on the car and still driving it.
