Reminds me of what Gurgel resorted on its Volkswagen-based SUVs, with 2 levers at each side of the parking brake in order to manually brake only one of the rear wheels at a time, even though it's way easier to implement on RWD vehicles using the parking brake cables than in a Prius. Getting an LSD specific for the Prius would be quite challenging, but it doesn't seem impossible. Have you already got in touch with Quaife? As long as a stock differential is provided for them to make a prototype, they can make LSDs for basically anything.
