Yesterday finally decided to cut the hose to remove the PS reservoir. Question: how bad would it be to just re-use the hose I basically shortened by 1"? It is part of a "cooling" hose that, all section included must be 2-3 feet long.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color.
