At that time it was out Portland Road. Past the fairgrounds and under the railroad, there was a drive-in on the East side*. I don't remember the turn downtown — all the streets have changed.

But I can't confirm the address. They had custom show cars cruising through there. I was in my father's bread truck, or my Studebaker.
We would drive a friend's father's red Valiant station wagon to the end of the [¼-mile] driveway, jack it up and crank the torsion bars down, cruise into town and back and then jack it up to raise it for the driveway.
(If I had that Studebaker today, it would have a third [5¾"] headlight and 1956 Golden Hawk [fiberglass] tailfins.)
