I'd personally like to see something similar, but scaled down. 310lbs / 140kg dry is quite a bit.
For comparison, my car's stock gearbox was 67lbs, and the 6 speed I have in it now (which can typically handle up to 400hp) weighs around 90lbs. That 310lbs is actually not all that much less than the complete Honda 2.4L engine and transmission.
