I was more of a Dove Blue purist.
Saw that and thought of John Fogerty:
Seriously, the commercial signage on my 1954 23-window barn door had faded but when it was wet you could see it in the patina. It said "
Miss Pratt's School of the Dance and Day Care Center". Chestnut Brown and Sealing Wax red, of course.
I told someone that story around the turn of the century, and they said "I haven't seen it but I saw a video of it under a tarp in [new owner's] back yard."
