Not personal experience but like you, I was looking for some winter-worthy tires and of all the reviews and tests I read, this one consistently scored very, very well. Unlike some of those, the Michelins do well enough on winter surfaces to rate the 3PMSF symbol indicating they can be considered a snow tire for those parts of the country that require such. I recommend them to my son to install on his Prius, but I think he went with something else since his local shops didn't stock the Michelins.
