That's likely to increase as California imports nearly all the electricity when coming from sources that don't fit their failed green ideas.
Also there is more push to install wind. Every wind farm starts off with about an additional 1% of transformer losses since the wind turbines generate power at 480v then step it up to around 20,000v.
Same thing goes for solar. Most installs start out around 240 to 480v.
