My $40 Asus AC1900 router seems to struggle with the ~45 IoT connected devices in my house. I'm sure freebeard is impressed that I can't pass gas in my own house without Google knowing.
Anyhow, I've been holding out for Wi-Fi 6E. It will be nice to perform a WiFi survey and find nobody else operating in the 6GHz band. Of course that won't help with the silly number of devices that require a 2.4GHz connection, but a newer faster router couldn't hurt.
