The view from here is that 90% of the predicted 2.1 million fatalities were saved by early, albeit unpopular, intervention. Similarly 400 children not re-united with their parents were out of 5,400 that were separated (1,500 of those by the current administration). Those parents have been contacted but they don't want their child repatriated to Mexico.
