Disarming the police is stupid. They need better training and better vetting, not less capability to perform their duty.
Police kill less than 1,000 people per year in the US. The number of people killed by falls is 37,000.
Since the majority of people that die in falls are male, and considering the problem is 37x that of police shootings, we should form an angry mob to demand that heights be less sexist. Instead of focusing on the behavior that put these people in precarious situations, lets burn down the institutions of height, and their supporting structures.
I will not rest until heights are eliminated, and the people that die in falls instead die of other causes; preferably less sexist ones.
