No, I don't expect Trump to be involved in a nuclear war because there has been no evidence to suggest he would be. We're probably less likely to see nuclear war since he made it clear he has a Big Red Button.
The cold war went colder because “We win, they lose" was adopted as the strategy.
Go try your pacifism strategy out in an Islamic extremist region and let us know how that turns out. That's impractical, so I just suggest wearing a MAGA hat in Portland on a regular basis without any means of protection.

It's like you stumbled onto Internet with no respect for it's culture.
You're egging me on in vain. I'd be more likely to ask the mods to lock the thread and start over. Maybe title it Sanctuary Cit-ation...

It sounds nice, but it isn't actually the case. The Bill of Rights are in the order that their topics come up in the Constitution.
Article I Section 8.
.....The Congress shall have the power to do this, that and the other thing.
Amendment 1: However, Congress shall make no law that does these things.
.....Among those powers in section 8 are war powers, but we really want to throttle the standing Army.
Amendment 2: Since our plan is for the Militia to be central to defense, don't mess it up.
Article I Section 9.
.....Here's a laundry list of restrictions on the government.
Amendment 3: We should have mentioned, we hate quartering, too.
Amendment 4: In fact, all my stuff should be safe from the Government.
Article III.
.....We have courts.
Amendment 5: I don't have to tell you anything.
Amendment 6: My lawyer says not to. And he gets to cross examine your guy.
Amendment 7: I get a jury, too. And once they say I'm clear, that's it.
Amendment 8: You'd better justify that bail, and any punishment needs to be civilized.
And that's all the specifics, but to keep the government's head from getting too big:
Amendment 9: Just because we mentioned some rights doesn't mean that's all there are.
Amendment 10: But your powers are limited to what's specifically listed here.

The more you know...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Bill_of_Rights
Quote:
The United States Bill of Rights comprises the first ten amendments to the United States Constitution. Proposed following the often bitter 1787–88 debate over the ratification of the Constitution, and written to address the objections raised by Anti-Federalists, the Bill of Rights amendments add to the Constitution specific guarantees of personal freedoms and rights, clear limitations on the government's power in judicial and other proceedings, and explicit declarations that all powers not specifically granted to the U.S. Congress by the Constitution are reserved for the states or the people. The concepts codified in these amendments are built upon those found in earlier documents, especially the Virginia Declaration of Rights (1776), as well as the Northwest Ordinance (1787),[1] the English Bill of Rights (1689), and the Magna Carta (1215).[2]
Due largely to the efforts of Representative James Madison, who studied the deficiencies of the Constitution pointed out by anti-federalists and then crafted a series of corrective proposals, Congress approved twelve articles of amendment on September 25, 1789, and submitted them to the states for ratification. Contrary to Madison's proposal that the proposed amendments be incorporated into the main body of the Constitution (at the relevant articles and sections of the document), they were proposed as supplemental additions (codicils) to it.[3] Articles Three through Twelve were ratified as additions to the Constitution on December 15, 1791, and became Amendments One through Ten of the Constitution. Article Two became part of the Constitution on May 5, 1992, as the Twenty-seventh Amendment. Article One is still pending before the states.
Although Madison's proposed amendments included a provision to extend the protection of some of the Bill of Rights to the states, the amendments that were finally submitted for ratification applied only to the federal government. The door for their application upon state governments was opened in the 1860s, following ratification of the Fourteenth Amendment.

Nowadays it doesn't work anymore, not even in England and Japan which are archipelagoes. It seems even less likely to work in a country with most of its territory at a continental landmass bordering countries which are also quite troublesome at their own ways. Canada with its failed multiculturalism and Mexico with a complexity that I can relate to the Brazilian Northeast.

I love how you completely ignored what's arguably the most troublesome country ever.

Trying to follow the logic here. The most troublesome country ever that has disarmed it's police? China is right out, is it Iran?

Disarming the police is stupid. They need better training and better vetting, not less capability to perform their duty.
Police kill less than 1,000 people per year in the US. The number of people killed by falls is 37,000.
Since the majority of people that die in falls are male, and considering the problem is 37x that of police shootings, we should form an angry mob to demand that heights be less sexist. Instead of focusing on the behavior that put these people in precarious situations, lets burn down the institutions of height, and their supporting structures.
I will not rest until heights are eliminated, and the people that die in falls instead die of other causes; preferably less sexist ones.
