Ethanol content had varied sometimes according to the results of the sugarcane harvest, yet other options such as corn-based ethanol are quite neglected and some sort of taboo here. When it comes to E96, which has around 4% residual water content, it used to be more easily available nationwide but nowadays it's not so hard to find fuel stations that don't stock it anymore. Not even with the majority of the new vehicles sold here being flexfuel for more than 10 years...
