You probably don't need to try to reduce lift - squareback shapes with a roofline basically parallel to the ground don't develop a lot of lift.

As has already been suggested, I'd experiment with different configurations first.

This took a lot of tweaking but ended up working pretty well (as far as I could tell; I didn't know about throttle stop testing then):
