[QUOTE=Ecky;640996]Costa Rican, 5 minutes 45 seconds , recorded at 440F when I removed from heat.

I started hearing the first crack with this coffee (a first, for me) at ~4 minutes, and approximately 415F as per my thermometer. The first crack was very sporadic and seemed to continue until just past 435F, when I pulled it off heat.

According to this chart, it's a hair past a Full City. No oil visible on the beans.

Sounds correct, there's commentary on roasting sites that internal temp lags by 10 degrees, and FC occurs around 410+/- (don't forget calibration issues)
On my BBQ fast read thermocouple, I get FC about 395 to 420

So thank you for the report. Off to harbor fright for a offset drill and an IR thermometer.
Should be a delightful roast.
