Most of it is actually left over Gorilla Tape adhesive. Hopefully that will come off too!
This thing is a lot of fun to ride and very practical to use.
An effort that could be maintained for hours at a time will get me 23 mph on the flat, and a hard sprint up to 35 mph. This is with the motor disabled while powering through its rotational mass and cogging losses, with the trunk loaded with tools and spare parts. This amount of effort translates into rolling averages between roughly 12-20 mph in a hilly area with lots of stops and traffic, and the torque sensor/computer are indicating human input averages around 250W, but I question its accuracy.
With the motor on, it's basically a 3,000+ MPGe "electric car" in terms of how it can be used on city streets.
