Not so sure about the Cybertruck theme. Let's suppose The Beast effectively becomes a full EV, it would eventually be more likely to take design cues from the Tesla Model S or the Model X.

But anyway, as long as some plug-in serial hybrids remain titled as an "extended-range" EV, I'd still believe an approach similar to what Wrightspeed developed for retrofits into commercial trucks and buses. I would still rather place a bet on something based on the Silverado 6500 frame (just like The Beast currently sits on a Chevy Kodiak chassis), with a Capstone microturbine driving a generator. The claimed multifuel ability of microturbines may eventually render such approach viable even for military vehicles and equipments.
