There are three price levels, wholesale, retail and end user, so it depends on your connections. Competitive products are Alumapanel and Grimco Maxmetal. I've seen prices quoted from $50 to $10 a 4x8 sheet.
What was illustrated was experiments on scraps from a sign shop. Hand sheared, braked and rolled with an 18" lever arm.
I'd worry more about hitting bollards than pedestrians.
