Exactly how mine does. Fading in and out. Hard to start once it gets low.
Above F is about 1 gallon
From F to 1/2 is about 5 gallons
From 1/2 to warning light fully lit is about 4 gallons.
I don't like to run it below that, because of the hard starting issue.
