Cold isn't that bad on a motorcycle with proper gear. 60 - 75 degrees is about perfect to me. Much warmer than that and riding in proper gear gets hot and sticky. With heated gear temperatures into the 30's aren't bad.
The issue for me is rain. Both reduced visibility from riding in road spray and getting to my destination in soaking riding gear.
