The pickup seems to have a completely unique frame and body and it looks like it is taking them 9-10 years to go from the first S to the first pickup.

Building a street-legal four-wheel vehicle seems as different from a trike as the pickup is from the S.
In a typical car company the S, X, 3, and Y would be on one platform. With Tesla they are on 3 and the Cybertruck would be a 4th platform.

For example the Focus (sedan, hatch, and wagon), Lincoln Corsair, Escape, Bronco Sport, Maverick, and next gen Transit Connect are all built on the Ford C2 platform.
