If it were done, it would be a show car, not a daily driver. Ron Courtney* did drive it on the street, but it sold to John Corno** in 1974 and now it's in collectors hands. An economical clone would be salutary.

Corno's would be in business today if John Corno (Jimmy's son) hadn't spent all the money on his automobile collection and other personal perks. He bought his Gina a brand new Corvette for her high school graduation. He kept hiring new accountants, who told him to curtail his spending, and then firing them because he didn't like what they said.
