I think it killed Bernd Rosemeyer, in the Auto Union racer.
According to Alex Tremulis, his streamliner's body was constructed with below-spec wall section thickness, and experienced aerodynamic deformation, causing uncontrollable yaw-induced instability that he couldn't overcome. Shame.
