I don't mind the "bad idea," since my work parking is dead-ass in the middle of a full-sun, unshaded parking lot every day. Given the calculator on their site, I could go 8-9 months out of the year without charging at all and then a few months in the winter only charging occasionally with this as my commuter.
That would make it viable for me to own an EV, given I can't charge it at home.
