Nothin under the sun is stopping you from making a solar powered EV. It’s a bad enough idea that no manufacturer makes a profitable vehicle that significantly runs on solar affixed to the vehicle.

I’ll go further and say that if you don’t add solar to a vehicle that you are acknowledging it’s a bad idea; cause why wouldn't you pursue a good idea?
