Electric parking brakes don't make any sense to me. They are slow to respond, and sometimes don't respond the first few times you press the buttons. Does the orange light mean the brake is on, or off? Does pushing the button engage the brake, or pulling it? None of it is intuitive, just like modern GUIs that don't use words to describe functions.
