The 21 gallon fuel tank has a recess in it for the small sized spare, there is a chunk of foam and a tie down plate that goes with it. The spare would need to be filled with air to use, and the stock jack is a public danger. Altogether German goofy.
I took my spare out along with the the charcoal canister, the blower motor and ventilation hoses. Took out close to 300lbs now (
long list), and looking for another couple hundred to remove.
