First longer trip in the Pacifica. 260 miles total. It actually started out and did 40 miles pure EV which was great. That was the most "city" part, probably 20 miles stop and go around town followed by 10 miles of interstate at 75mph and then 10 miles on the side highway at 65 until hitting the first hill. Then the gas kicked on and off of the rest of the trip, side highways, 55-73mph. In the end the car says it did 82 miles EV and 178 miles gas. It only shows 20 miles of regen EV so the other 22 miles on EV must be when the motor is running it also is giving power to charge the battery some. I wish I could force exactly how much it would do that. Sometimes it seemed to push 15kw into the battery and other times it was using the battery to assist the gas even on flat roads. I wish it would just continue to fill the battery if I wanted but it never let's it get higher than 1% unless going down hill.

I didn't refill the gas tank to figure the MPG because I've had that gas in there for a month and 1/2 and know at some point I'm going to get a feul refresh mode that will always run the gas motor even with a full battery. Apparently adding about 5 gallons will reset that so I want the space. Also I suppose not carrying around a full tank all the time should improve EV range a bit

PS, that was 6 good sized passengers, some luggage, and running the AC all day at 69 while about 84 degrees and sunny outside.
