I could see the cool factor of FUV being such that motorcyclists give "the wave". I know I would. I'm not sure 2 Aptera's passing each other would even make eye contact, let alone greet one another.

The Aptera is as heavy as a Mazda Miata (another two seater) and has already gotten great crash test reviews. It's being designed to meet car safety levels, not just motorcycle safety levels. According to Sandy Munro the car already met such safety levels before he got his hands on it and he says he's going to make it even safer.
Besides, I believe the Aptera is for a different audience than the FUV. The FUV is more motorcycle like since it is an open tandem. The Aptera is an enclosed side-by-side with heat and air-conditioning. The Aptera competes with cars like the Mazda Miata. The FUV competes with motorcycles and scooters.
