Zero percent of HGTV show appliances, the garage, or anything else useful, and that's because people are stupid.
That means crap gets installed and we suffer as a result of our collective ignorance.
My million dollar idea for the day once was to have a home show where we show the garage and appliances. It would appeal to 1% of people; but that's still like 3+ million people in the US. I'd be happy to entertain and inform 1% of people.
