I would bet it is a little bigger, being a 2.0 or 2.4 L block and a 6 speed manual transmission (I assume you'd want). But they fit. All you need is engine and transmission mounts and companies like Hasport sell them for the exact purpose you are daydreaming about. This is a known thing. Got $10k to spend? In a few months, with some significant labor, you might have a working k-swapped 5th gen Civic in your driveway.
