I really enjoy listening to Sandy, but I have no idea why people ask for his opinion on EV related stuff when it's clear that's not his core competency.

I'm more qualified to comment on the future of EVs than Sandy simply because I know the difference between a GigaWatt and a MegaWatt.

Why is hardly anyone using hub motors if they are superior?

It seems inconceivable they could be more efficient because they are subjected to way more stress, and as a result, require beefier construction and larger tolerances.
