Of course you are comparing a luxury crossover with a not-so-luxury station wagon. Perhaps the question is, what do you like better about it? And the other question, being this is an Ecomodder forum, does it get better fuel mileage?

Meanwhile in day to day life people love crossovers.
People also love what meets their priorities.

Would I be confortable in a one-ton, crew-cab truck. Yes. But would I keep one even if someone gave one to me and paid me to drive it as my personal vehicle?... NO!!!

Why? Most people just want a vehicle they can fit into comfortably and gets them from point A to B. It doesn't have to get the best fuel mileage or cost the least for them. But I, on the other hand, would like to get away from unnecessary use of energy as much as possible without going so far as to forfeit driving a practical motorized vehicle.
