Which way are you going? Likely Halogen>>LED.
My experience is with swapping the bulbs in Hella H4s -- I find the LEDs have a more uniform, whiter light than the Halogens, but they don't have the reach down the road and the Hella low-beam cutoff is compromised. I added eyebrows like this:
A reflector designed for LEDs shouldn't have this problem.
