It's sort of simple in my mind. Most vehicles start to have problems at 150,000-200,000 bad ones even sooner around 100,000 miles. So on a turbo, you just have all the normal problems but then add in $1000-$3000 turbochargers, down pipes, intercooler, etc. You still get all the other stuff as well, water pumps, timing chains, fuel injectors, alternators, A/C, headgaskets, etc.
If you don't have it it can't break.
