My first supervisor for the agency for which I worked back in Tempe absolutely refused to observe me--a critical component of her job description.
She was legally required to observe 10% of my sessions.
Of course she never said no, she just ignored me, like the one time that I finally got her to commit to observing me, but never answered the phone when I tried to see where she was.
I look forward to seeing how that was my fault.
I am still in touch with her replacement, who still writes me letters of recommendation. That supervisor told me that her predecessor wasn't with the company any longer.
