Nuke might have its potential, yet it's far from being dumbproof at all. AFAIK the nuclear emergency response unit attached to a Brazilian Navy hospital in Rio de Janeiro at the same time the Angra 1 nuclear powerplant was built, had only been used once in response to an incident not even related to the Angra powerplants.
