Back in the 1980s & 1990s I was living in the UK and there seemed to be a lot of ugly cars produced by adding a boot onto an existing hatchback. Horrible things like the Vauxhall Belmont, which never sold well I think. There was a Daihatsu but I can't remember what they called it. Also unpopular. Others as well but, thankfully, time has erased my memories of them. Best forgotten - neither one thing nor the other.
