I wouldn't have any tree that overhangs the roof.
A couple trees in front of my house have a couple branches that will reach out over, and I just trim those limbs back.
Heck, 1 ice storm and my back fence was smashed by an oak tree that wasn't even on my property.
I like trees, just not immediately near structures I'd rather not have smashed or covered in leaves and needles.
