I'm always willing to entertain alternative explanations for anything I've stated. Do you propose something else besides ignorance or corruption as motivating factors? Perhaps I didn't consider disease or dementia as an explanation, but I'm not one to leverage medical conditions to expose illogic.
I've already stated that I'm pro-vaccine for the most part, so you're preaching to the choir here. 2/3rd of Americans have received a vaccination, and at least 1/3rd have been exposed to Covid and have natural immunity. We're somewhere around 95% coverage of some sort of immunity, yet the disease persists because that's the evolutionary process of pathogens. It's what's known as endemic.
Early deaths, before the vast majority of the population had immunity could mostly be correlated with unvaccinated individuals. At this point, it's mostly bad luck in that variants have adapted around immunity, and prey especially on the elderly and unhealthy. That brings up my next point that nowhere in the corrupt business of dividing people for the ostensible purpose of "health" have any of these scumbag politicians mentioned things like not being overweight, getting adequate vitamin D, and other things that build up natural defenses not only to Covid, but every disease. They are corruptly myopically focused on 1 and only 1 therapy. There is no other explanation other than corruption/profound ignorance/mental disease to explain this, but I await alternate explanations and hope to be proven wrong.

Not only was the legislation gutted, the Senate Special Committee was dis-banded, under political campaign finance extortion threats to any US Congressmen which might jeopardize corporate sales and profits with which Congressmen are 'purchased.'

* If you want to end government corruption, your going to need a Supreme Court that will take a fresh look at the Due Process clause of the 14th Amendment, and Citizens United. Anything else is just pure folly.

* We're at war with a virus. The White House is doing exactly what it's mandated to do. It has a solution. And gets nothing but hell for it.
* President Nixon mandated that I have immunizations in basic training, an additional 17- immunizations before going to Vietnam. And more after I got there.
* There was no storming of the Capital, or riots.
* Vaccination kills COVID and all it's mutations. The economy opens back up, just like pre-pandemic.
* Do people think viruses take time off while we argue?
* It's very strange to survive combat, only to see Americans killing each other at home, by default.
