Cylinder head porting

So I’ve delved into this project, eager to get started. Pulled the valves and springs out and I noticed the ports looked awful. The way that the head was cast and constructed there were huge ledges in all the ports that could cause reversion and eddy currents. Got out the dremel and a carbide burr and started chipping away at the imperfections. Even if I did nothing else I like to think I’ve made a huge difference
