Yep, that's how the credit goes.

After listening to George Hotz, I don't think I'd buy another vehicle that doesn't have lane keep and adaptive cruise control. These 2 features enable his product, Comma.AI, to do self-driving, and his product is cheap (compared to the competition).

He was saying that he'd start an insurance company that only insures safe drivers, allowing his premium amounts to massively undercut the competition. While oldschool insurance will be trying to figure out if some boys are girls, he will be analyzing actual driving metrics to determine risk to a high degree of probability.

Driving assist might save money in the long term if insurance savings ends up becoming a reality.
