1) I looked at that material weeks ago. It has nothing to do with solar wind or the interplanetary magnetic field reaching out to the heliopause.
2) Earth is protected during solar senescence by the magnetosphere.
3) Earth is protected by the solar wind during magnetospheric excursions.
4) S-O mentioned something about the solar spectrum @ 123-angstroms. Or, 0.0000000123- centimeters, placing it within gamma-radiation spectra. I suppose B.D wants me to run around with my hair on fire, worrying about solar gamma rays now. He may be unaware that they could be responsible for life on Earth.
5) Those with a more specialized knowledge of the universe will be acquainted with warped space-time and more sophisticated geometric representations required to describe reality.
