I never heard of anything like this. Linus had videos where he had several people using one computer, but it was an overpowered beast.
This guy used what was a cheap computer back in the day and had 6 terminals running off of one computer!
...and he mentioned multiple ways that it violated not only Microsoft's license, but Adobe's as well, but how would you install multiple copies of the same program in order to use multiple licenses?
He talked about how anyone getting sued by Microsoft or Nintendo loses because Microsoft or Nintendo wanted them to, but Microsoft never sued--and then made their own version:
