Too bad I can't yet post pictures of a Heist Civic.
Anyway. The car has yet to be bought. The electric conversion is slowly taking shape (with some help from the diyelectriccar forum)

The plans for the Civic;
For promotion and pictures the car wil have wide Wheels, a front lip and the specific trunk spoiler.
For a run these will be removed. We are not sourcing the F&F Bodykit because they stopped producing it, and fitting it is a major PITA. aswell as driving with those low bumpers.

There is a small team at my disposal to improve the odds of succes. So fabrication etc. Is covered.
We are reducing Aerodynamic drag to maximize our range per charge.

- rear wheel covers
- smoothen wipers somehow. They are above the bonnet line
- full undertray ( easy without exhaust)
- radiator ducting inlet - outlet
- opening fenders behind front Wheels (shaping towards chassis rails)
- replace side mirrors with 'F1 style' door mounted small ones
- BMW i3 Wheels & tires (correct pcd spacers) 155/70 R19 - 220cm circumference VS stock 183cm
- making the glass flush all around
- rear separation edges
- (finns from the C-pillars)

There are some '92 - '95 civics on the forum so I'm hoping some of you can chime in.
The back side of coupe's really interest me regarding flow & possible improvements.

I have seen many hatchbacks on here with extremely shaped bumpers. I'm wanting to avoid that. Upon first glance it seems that the Original shape is not terrible. So in conjunction with a full undertray I'm hoping to get serious gains.

Reading Julian's book for the third time now.
Height sensors are standing by, and wool tufting is on the menu.

Regarding weight, interior will be deleted, Dash will be replaced with a basic (polyester) plate, no luxury's for the driver. Just lights & perhaps a windshield heater.
Of course the batteries will add a lot of weight.
