Creating a problem out of a no-problem, just in order to sell a fake solution that doesn't fix the so-called problem. And even though some JDM or even Brazilian/Mexican rides could be seen as "polluting" and "unsafe", often they can actually make more sense than some model officially available stateside. Under certain circumstances, a Japanese van can make more sense than a full-size American van or SUV of the same vintage.
