How do you know how complicated my life is, anyway?
Examples of minor complications would be when the phone rings and a voice tells me my iPhone order or Amazon order is in jeopardy, and I'm all anxious until I remember I've never had an iPhone or Amazon order. That and the one where you pick up and there is 10-15 seconds of silence and then two clicks and (occasionally) a message that the call couldn't be completed.
Other than that it's quiet in the neighborhood. Except I fired up the Dasher diesel today and filled the neighborhood with a cloud of blue smoke -- a new battery from the little shop down Main street. I'm typing on an Apple shorty keyboard ($5 at Nextstep) on an $80 Raspberry Pi computer (Best Buy). I bought the screen about 20 years ago. The modem is 30 years old.
